Besides shaving, my pursuits are vintage toys, antiques (shaving/barber included of course...) and 4x4s and Mopars..... Smile

If you are a fan of any of the following and you have pics of your own favorite items....let's see em!

You have seen some of my vintage toys in another post...so...here are some other pics...

(Sorry for the blurry 1st pic...)

That Bald Guy with the Big Beard
Bishop, CA
Im am amature herpetologist and semi-pro photographer. Ive worked with fish and game on reptile and amphibian surveys and habitat restoration projects, helped write guidebooks, and even documented a simple recessive genetic trait in a local wild snake population.

Im also a big fan of Mopars. I had an all original 66 Dodge Dart for a while that i sold to take care of my kid many years ago when we were struggling. I miss that car...

Fragrances for me! I enjoy cultivating a curated collection of fine fragrances. I also adore alliteration.

I've started to carve and make my own slingshot frames. I'm just getting started, but am loving it.

Here are a few naturals as well as a few from Baltic Birch Plywood. Not a bad hobby when you can make 10 frames from a $3 piece of ply and some time.

Very cool work @bruce. Love the grain in that last piece.

Are those patterns in the first examples your design? I like the "Green Hornet" too.

The naturals are just wood from my yard.

The templates were all just grabbed from forums and Google. There are a ton of free templates out there for use with hardwood Ply.

I'm loving it so far and glad to be back in the wood shop utilizing some of my tools.

The green one was a mistake that I made the best of. The router got a little crazy, so I took out a layer of ply, added some cut out holes and decided to try some white wash paint with green acrylic.

Thank you kindly Kevin! Those are some of my favorites of which I had photos readily available.

By the way, if anyone feels like chatting about fragrances or are curious and would like advice on the subject, feel free to send me a PM! Smile

Took me a minute to come up with an alliterative response Smile Thanks for the offer on scents- it is an area that I enjoy reading/hearing more about.
