I have a very small collection of drinking glasses. But it is no big deal.

Here are a couple drinking glasses.

It's not easy taking pictures.

No not a juke box. An old photo of my tt setup before my life crashed (lol, but I'm not really laughing). I was a hard core all tube analog high-end audiophile for a lot of years. This is connected to what I would consider a very respectable hi-fi system. One day, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to take everything out of storage and set it all up again, along with the 1200 or so LP's that I have boxed up.

I'm a competitor in a sport that can't be discussed on the forum, so I won't. I will use jargon though and those folks who know will know and everyone else will be left scratching their heads. But the use of google might decipher it. You're on your own there.

We had a USPSA match today (5 classifiers) and typical for me it was mostly incompetence sprinkled with very little brilliance. I took 100% of the points in one stage, got 69% of the points in another and the rest of the stages were "mehh". One stage I pulled a boneheaded move and zeroed out with procedural penalties. But in checking my score in Practiscore, our online scoring system, and then going to the USPSA site to check my classification I saw that I moved up a classification (I'm in PCC division). I thought I was going to do that months ago, checked it and saw that I didn't, then forgot about it. What a pleasant surprise when I saw that today and printed out my new card.

Oh, I also broke my cherry for the white NS'. I hadn't shot one since taking up PCC, but today, pushing time (and being stupid), I got 2 of them in one stage. It was first stage and I was the first up. The cardboard was close and there is a huge difference between line of sight and line of bore. I'm sighted in at 50 yards.

Two more months and I'm a Super Senior in the sport with all the pomp and pageantry that goes along with that. (written tongue in cheek, it gets me absolutely nothing)

I have fun doing it and I like to think that it keeps me sharp. I'm too old to be a top competitor and I just don't have the time to practice to be a top competitor even in my age group locally. I just have too much going on. But the other old farts I see at our local competitions and I compete together and we alternately chase and lead each other in a friendly way. I mostly do the chasing. :-)

What sport can't be discussed on the forum? LOL! But really, I didn't know there were sports that couldn't be discussed here.
