Just tried the Symetry razor from HTGAM or PAA same thing, wow to me very aggressive but efficient. Not sure if it's for me but would like to get a great O/C razor to put in my rotation, I've heard Ikon and ATT have some great razors what's your thoughts?

I like the merkur 1904 OC...cheap razor and it's mild.

Fattip Piccilo or Grande.  Both are open combs at a low price point and both very efficient shavers.

DMFeugo, if you're open to trying SE razors, check out the GEM MicroMatic. to me, it's stupid aggressive, but it is regarded as a highly efficient razor.

I picked up Maggard's OC head because it was cheap and it was an open comb. I was always curious to try one, and I'm curious to try more. Not sure if this is up your alley. I'd guess, just from looks, that it is comparable to the symmetry you tried. Not a bad experience, but the teeth weren't very comfortable on the skin. Definitely aggressive, my skin started to get that tingly feeling after the second pass. Luckily enough, I didn't need to do a third, so it is sufficiently efficient. Does that sound comparable to the symmetry? I'm also really interested to hear if any one could compare it to the PAA DOC. I have been super curious about it, but can't just toss the money out there.

open combs are the best. the new long is one of the best oc razors out there, but there are other great open combs. they are my favorite Smile

If you want to slice your head off and bleed out then a GEM Micromatic might be for you. Otherwise steer clear. Tongue (Ah, the ever popular YMMV. Big Grin )
