OK, here's a crazy idea....what with the various collaborations among soap makers and scent-ists, how about a collaboration between Ogallala and a premium soap maker? I love most of the Ogallala scents and their aftershave toners are great but the Ogallala shaving soap just isn't up to the standard of the top tier shaving soaps. I think a collaboration with a soap maker like Declaration Grooming or Wholly Kaw or Stirling or T+S would be awesome. I can't be the only one who likes the Ogallala scents and who'd like to see (smell) those scents in a top tier shaving soap, lets get this ball rolling.

OK, I should have used the words "including, without limitation..." in front of the list Big Grin I wasn't being exhaustive.

I know you don't (or didn't) ship to Canada. Any thoughts of getting your soap at Top of the Chain or one of the other Canadian retailers?

I'd still love to see Ogallala's Bay Rum, Sage and Cedar and Lime and Peppercorn in a top tier soap. Maybe even their Sandalwood.

If someone tries to order from Canada on our site, it should work. If not, please notify me.
The top banner just says free shipping CONUS. Not that we won't ship to Canada.

Never will happen. I have a Duluth near me and went in looking for the sampler they have of AS. Only carried the cologne and a few soaps. Emailed Ogallala started off by saying how I went to school in Nebraska yada yada. Brought up the lack of selection at Duluth who must be their #1 customer because the guy bit my head off who was a VP with the company.

My feeling is they like where they are at market share wise and a talk of collaboration will just go right past them.

The Crazy talk will be their lunchroom conversation about a bunch of wet shavers that want a collaboration with a top tier soap maker. That in itself will be an attack on their current soap quality.

Yeah that sampler is great. I figured they were probably in a happy spot given that they're happy with that truly awful shaving soap base - I bought a new puck recently thinking that they must have upgraded the formula by now but nope. Same old same old. Funny approach to customer service when they get a customer who cares enough about their product to call the head office to inquire about availability and they bite your head off. Is that Nebraska tough love?

Being from the east coast Nebraska was the most friendly place I have ever visited. His response was just the opposite of what I was used to.

I'm not saying to not give it a shot but the response I got on just expanding the options doesn't make me think you will get far on the suggestion not to mention the soap makers pain on working with them.

You must have caught the guy on a bad day. They don't even have to collab, they could just improve the base themselves.
