'Official' Rockwell 6C Arrived Today-Superbacker Packaging

Mistakes were made on some 6C shipments, with a white chrome razor being shipped in the gunmetal box. Had this happen to me, and I've been reading reports of same elsewhere. Contact Gareth if you have any questions and he'll make sure you get the right version.

Here is a snap of my 6C in gun metal. It is not as dark looking as on the Kickstarter page, but it is darker than my chrome razor stand and it looks to match the picture on the box.

As a follow up, I spent the last 45 minutes looking at reddit and the 6C kickstarter page looking for pictures. I couldn't find any, just lots of folks saying they think they got chrome. Since I had a snapshot, I posted here and there, and sent it to Rockwell to see what Gareth thinks. I would like to see a chrome one, so I can compare the lightness or darkness to my photo. Will it matter to me in the end? I doubt it! It shaves like a dream on plate 3. I want to stay there for a bit to get the feel for this razor, then I will try plate 4. From what has been posted here, I believe GarRockwell is an upstanding and outstanding business owner. If there is a mix up, I know he'll strive to make it right. There seems to be a lot of folks posting that they got the wrong finish, but there were early posts that the gunmetal finish IS lighter and shiny. So I wanted to post my photo to help other see what one (may) look like!

Gareth put me on the list for the gun metal after receiving my email, so I guess I don't have the right finish. I will blame these (getting) older Mach 1 eyeballs!
