I just got a vintage Plisson brush, size 14 in real horn, from a good friend. It is taking the place in my rotation of a small WWII Rooney boar brush, which has a lot of great history but is not very practical for building and applying lather.

That was one of my favorite Plisson brushes. If you got that from Patrick, I wish you luck with the brush. I found the knot to be very unique with the way it applied lather. Felt wonderful with a hint of scritch.

From today flea market adventure, F-4 Toggle and a Gem Junior. Both in very low mileage condition. The gold plating has held up good on both over the decades

They assimilated me. I got the Dovo and a 3" English Bridle leather strop at 40% off. Resistance was futile.
