My only experience with AC safety razors are the paradigm SE and the vector. My recommendation between those two would go to the vector (plus, the paradigm is not obtainable anyways)

I've got the ATT SE 1 and the 2nd iteration of the stainless Moongoose. The ATT is as efficient but more forgiving than the goose. Cannot speak for the others mentioned.

I too would recommend the Vector but I haven't tried the Paradigm SE. Out of curiosity, in what way do you find the Vector better than the Paradigm?

I found the vector noticeably more efficient without sacrificing any smoothness. The Paradigm was too mild for me.

I have never tried one of the se razors like the gem or whatnot are they similar to like a shavette or something? I tried a sextoblade but that's it. Only used DE and a straight razor(twice) before.

No I wouldn't say they're similar to a shavette. From my experience most are milder and more efficient than DEs. I know this is a very general statement and there are many kinds of DEs and SEs so we can't really compare them but my general feeling is that the SEs I've tried are milder but by no means lacking efficiency compared to DEs.

Of course this is just me, YMMV etc.

The Vector is so agile it is mind blowing. The extra width of the blade vs a de is completely a non issue for me. I don’t even realize it’s different in use.

It's too bad that the RazoRock Hawk is no longer "obtainable" as the value-for-money proposition is unbeatable.

But … speaking of the Blackland Vector, is there any word on when it will be available again? The website says that it's "currently sold out and will return soon".
