If someone who received one of my PIFs asked to sell it, I'd say "NO". Actually, I make sure to put that disclaimer in to my PIFs.

I agree with everything else you said, up until "If you absolutely must sell....". There is NO REASON to sell a PIF, ever.

The fact that is listed by the Site Admin/Founder is off-putting to say the least. Most forums would run that member off their site for attempting to sell a PIF.

Myself, I tell people when I give them something that all that I ask is that they don't sell it.
If they don't like it then please pass it on to someone else in a PIF as it was given to you.
So I guess by stating things up front that everything is out in the open and they don't ask if they can sell something I gave them.

They always agree to PIF it if it doesn't work. That doesn't mean that some things I've PIF'd haven't ended up on EBay but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Gentlemen, this is a B/S/T thread, not a "Gee, he shouldn't do that" thread.  Andrew was completely upfront about what he was doing and even had the permission of the person who gave it to him.  Whether or not you agree, no rules have been broken so let's leave it at that.

brucered, I'm not sure why you keep bothering me in my threads - first you insult me in another thread, then you continue to make posts in a bst thread where I have been 100% clear with my intentions...and even the person who PIF'd the item to me came into the thread and said he had no issues with what I was doing. Joe and I discussed this in PMs before I made this thread.

for the sake of the forum, I'll pull this item (as long as Joe is ok with it) and send it around the country as a PIF.
