Hi all,

Hobbyist PIF'd me some Nuavia Rossa last week.  I'm not too fond of the scent so I'm looking to trade/sell it to buy nuavia blu.  I already cleared it with him and he's fine with me doing whatever I want with it.

the puck has been lathered on 3X and 1 small sample was scooped off of the side of it.  the croc was damaged that it ships in so it was put into an empty green stirling soap container.  $50 shipped.

I'm not sure what the soap should weigh or how much the container weighs, but my scale has it at 225G.

Majority likes the Blu but to be honest, I kinda prefer the scent of the Rossa.

They are really close (in terms of my like for both scents) but I find the red more oud-y? The Blu is certainly more pronounced and robust.

Good luck with the trade man. Joe is an awesome chap.

I agree that Joe is an awesome chap. I'm excited to meet up with him when I head back out to Vegas!

Right on. I would have joined if I wasn't in the outskirts of the galaxy. Enjoy mates.

Hey btw, Nuavia Blu? It's like a perfume for your badger brushes. Smells so good even 2 weeks later.

I should know, I'm a weirdo the sniffs my brushes almost daily.  Sleepy

If a trade doesn't happen, you could always re-PIF it....which is probably what most would have done.

I'll sell it to buy the nuavia blu and send some to Hobbyist.

Do whatever you need to Andrew. I'm good. I wouldn't have been able to use two so as long as someone enjoyed it I'm happy.

Am I the only one who sees Selling a PIF as 100% wrong, despite what the PIFer says?

The whole point of a PIF is to "Pay it forward".  If it doesn't work out for you, the proper thing to do is PIF it back, not flip it to buy something else you want more.

I've never sold or traded anything that was PIF'd to me, if I don't like it then maybe it was meant for someone else. I know you got the original donor's permission but it's not like he's going to say no. If it were me I'd be like "uh, ok I guess" but my preference would definitely be that you PIF it to someone else.

Also, $50 for the soap without the really nice crock does seem rather steep as well. The plastic tub definitely takes away from the experience. If it was not a PIF and something you bought yourself and resold I'd still say your price is too high.

If you absolutely must sell it (I'd PIF it myself) to fund another purchase I'd at least make it a hell of a deal for someone else.
