From the seller:
"During a period of about 2 years (2011-13) Simpson had a phenomenal 2 Band hair with amazing characteristics: fine, but resilient, assembled in uniform, bulbous, densely (for 2 Band) packed knots. These are still carrying the “Made in England” sticker and came first in grey and then green boxes.
2 Bands of that time were produced infrequently, when such hair was on hand, and set into handles not specially marked. That’s why you find those in handles marked “Best Badger” or “Super Badger”. I approached Mark Watterson at the time and asked, if he could do a few customs for me and so a series of brushes came together, some specially marked “Silvertip” - a nomenclature Simpson then kept for any following 2 Band offering.
The Harvard 4 is a “unicorn”, i.e. to my knowledge this is the ONLY H4 ever produced in that hair. I asked this to be made with 25/50mm knots."
