Thanks Gareth, I’m still tempted given that experience has shown that I am virtually powerless in the face of the words “bay rum “
I firmly believe that every artisan soap/aftershave maker should have a bay rum in their stable but there are more than a few who resist. I’m sure they will eventually see the error of their ways and come to the bay rum side.
As for smoke, it can be done well. The Holy Black’s sandalwood smoke and cracklin rose for example. Both are subtle and quite nice.
