I just received The Gent soap and splash set from Top of The Chain.   Happy2  Smells great, I'm looking forward to trying it out.  Also, as a matter of note, this soap is the first soap I've ever received that had the clear plastic , "tamper proof" wrap on it.  Splashes have had that for a while.  Good development.

In the name of OSHA safety you should send it on to me. It's for the children after all.   Big Grin    Wink

I managed to safely use both soap and splash yesterday Smile along the same lines for safe use, the tub also has directions for use printed on the side. Another first for me.  That said, nice soap. Cool label art with some reflective ink (? Pigment) in the windows of the building so it looks like lights on. The sego base is decent and the scent is a nice, mild barbershop sort of scent. My wife likes it and says it’s a soapy, linen fresh laundry smell to her nose. It’s not one of Shawn’s “polarizing” scents to be sure but I doubt that’s what ZM asked for. It should be popular.

I’ve never had the experience of getting a haircut and shave in a high end barbershop like The Gent describes in the promo, my barbershop is more like Clint Eastwood’s in Gran Torino.

On the way - fond of several other ZM fragrances and they've never disappointed in the performance department....

Rounding back - great barbershop fragrance and outstanding performance!  Nothing to add, except that corner building on the label does put me in mind of Edward Hopper's Nighthawks, except it's apparently a barbershop instead of a diner.  Excellent!

I recently got given a sample of this stuff, and it is straight into my top 5 scents. This scent is intoxicating.
