Perhaps that is why. Edgewell, which owns Wilkinson Sword, is likely to sell through established distribution channels. In the US, that seems not to include Amazon at the moment. It is likely that some Edgewell customers will eventually sell through Amazon's US site, though.

Edgewell also owns Schick, Personna (at least most of the former Personna), Bulldog Shaving and Jack Black.

Art of Shaving, owned by Gillette / Proctor & Gamble, also sells safety razors through its Art of Shaving stores. So two of the largest personal care products companies sell safety razors and a great many double edge blades, not to mention many other shaving products. Traditional wetshaving will never dominate the market again, but the once frequently hypothesized "shavepocalypse" isn't going to happen. Traditional shaving is back and here to stay. Even Edgewell and Proctor & Gamble know that, as do countless thousands of smaller companies and artisan shops.
