It's basically free.I thought Karve aluminum razors were cheap at around $92. And they are a great deal in my opinion. But $54? Geez. I might have to buy it just on principle.
Slightly off topic from me… the 92 dollar Aluminum Overlander is way too much money for what it is. He needs to get rid of so many handle combinations and machine it in one run and lower costs.

Therein lies the conundrum. I know I'm not too terribly fond of aluminum. Just too light for me. But $54?
Wasn't a fan of Al, but the Bison might have changed that. Don't prefer it over any other metal, but I at least don't hate Al now.

I am still drawn to the Bison also, but Aluminum is what keeps me away. I see it, like it, then remember it's Aluminum.

I have two shaves in with this slant razor and it’s a smooth shaver! I detect no blade feel and the efficiency is nice. No nicks and no weepers. With that being said, for the price, it is definitely a keeper BUT (you knew there was going to be a but) I don’t find the efficiency to be quite there on my lower jaw/neck line.
Due to issues with ingrown hairs I never shave against the grain. I do a with grain pass and two cross grain passes only and I still feel a little bit of stubble on my jawline.
Great shaver for sure, especially for the price.

Thanks for the update! I didn't really have a doubt that it would be smooth, the stainless steel and titanium razors that I have from them currently, as well as my bronze, or all smooth shapers. It's one thing I was worried about was the blade feel. I fear it may be too mild for me. And that's interesting. That is a spot that I've been paying attention to more lately because I tend to miss it is the jawline. I could be BBS everywhere, but for some reason I'll feel a little bit of hair in that area just before you get to the neck. Not sure why that ever happened, but I've been paying attention now and making sure that I get that area.

Gotcha. I feel for the price, you really can't miss. I use the Ti 0.95OC, SSSlim, and the Bronze 0.38. All fantastic.
