New Timeless Aluminum Slant DE Razor!!!

Other than the Rex pass around, I haven’t used the slant razor in years. For a while I was on quite a kick and had a few of them. I just saw this pop-up on Facebook. And I have to admit for $54. I am really tempted. I had literally just placed an order for some other stuff about 10 minutes before I saw this. 

It’s a really sharp looking razor. The fact that it is aluminum is kind of a like and dislike for me. It’s a dislike because I’m generally not drawn to using my very light razors that often. The like part of it is the $54 price tag. It has an .86mm blade gap and as you can see by the pictures, it looks like there’s a bit of blade exposure though I don’t know what the specs are on that as they don’t list it.

You can also add a stand for $20. 

I ordered one as well.

Therein lies the conundrum. I know I'm not too terribly fond of aluminum. Just too light for me. But $54?

Wow, no kidding that’s fast! Please post some pics of you wouldn’t mind. Would like to hear your thoughts when you use it as well.

I understand that. It's a good "problem" to have! Look forward to hearing about it. I just have the war raging inside my head right now between "it's $54! But it's aluminum. But it's only $54!" The war rages on.....
