I think the inspiration for both the Parker and Supply is the Pal adjustable.

It's good to hear that the Pro is released for public sale so soon.  That means there were very few issues found by us Kickstarters.

I have a Pal Adjustable as well - nice Razor overall but not quite as smooth in comparison. However, these are incredible considering the fact that they were designed and produced in the early 1960’s

Pretty awesome IMHO.

I can most definitely confirm my inspiration was 100% a combination of the PAL (for visual aesthetics) and the Schick adjustable (for shaving performance) Smile

My Pro was delivered about an hour ago; I'll be giving it a first run tonight.

I used the pack of blades that came packaged with the razor (I also ordered a single pack of the black label blades when I ordered). First blade would not slide in cleanly; it was extremely crooked, and I had to use needle nose pliers to remove it.

I threw that first blade way and injected a second blade; seems to be fine/straight.

Brief impressions of unboxing and first use of the Pro.

Solidly made; adjustment knob, as noted by others, rattles when shaking the razor, but I did not notice anything amiss during use on my face.

Numbers on the adjustment knob are really hard to see under anything other than bright light (for me).

Short and sweet:  I need more time withe the Pro as I have exclusively been using a Blackland Vector (AC format) and H&SCo. Z074-ti (DE blade) since like June 2021.  However, that said, I did get an acceptable shave using setting 3.5 on 1st, WTG, pass and 3 on 2nd ATG pass + touch-up in my typical problem area (mustache/above upper lip).

***The only thing that annoyed me during use was the amount of water the head of the Pro holds after rinsing.  My neck and chest were soaking wet due to water flowing out of the head during use after rinsing.  Guess it’s just the nature of a razor with the nooks & crannies necessary for an adjustable injector.  If it wasn’t for this water, the silicone sleeve might not be necessary (for me).

In any event, this is my first experience with Supply, and I do plan to use the Pro plenty in the coming weeks.

Shave #8 (5 with Schick blade)

Well today was the day I went all the way up on my first pass as I had 2.5 days of growth . I was careful and significantly rewarded with a clean and comfortable / efficient shave. 6, 5, 3.5 and my face and neck are in really great shape - I paid special attention and kept my index finger on the back of the razor and this worked out very well for controlling the angle. Slightly increased feedback with the alum for just a second but I’m okay with it considering the closeness of the shave with my crazy tough whiskers. I just had to finish the shave with some Pierre Cardin and I’m off to enjoy the day.

Happy Healthy Shaves all.

Josh

Today I elected to perform a shave off with the Supply Pro vs the Parker Adjustable V1.

Overall very enjoyable and informative. Based on my shaving experience with the Parker V1 - my memory and assumptions were correct.

- The Supply Pro can definitely shave more efficiently at higher settings, but you need to be very careful with your angle to avoid any nicks or a rougher shave. I did develop two little ones on my chin that quickly stopped with the touch of a styptic pencil.

- The Parker is not as efficient but is however very smooth and can be used more carefree because it is much tougher to cut or nick yourself. You may end up needing buffing or an extra pass but it also does a very good job.

My face / neck were pleased and excited for work in the ER tonight.

Scentsless Shaver
Oakland, ME
[Image: G52JO6h.jpg]

First outing with the Supply SE and a new Supply Black Label blade. Suds provided by Canada Shaving soap and application of lather by SynBad in Aurora Borealis handle.

A heavy razor! From the website it is 92 grams, and the Asylum is 99 grams. I thought it was heavy.

The angle was easy to find, but I had to keep finding it. Most likely this is just me adjusting to a new razor after a week with the Super Speed and Overlander. Very very comfortable shave. I tended to overshave a couple of spots as it sounded loud like more cutting needed to be done and didn't get any irritation! That please me no end.

The Supply Single Edge 2.0 with the SE plate has been a really nice head shaver for me
