Definite similarities. I find Pearberry to be a bit stronger and slightly sharper (and of course the prominent note is pear instead of Naíd’s apricot). Pearberry might perhaps be considered slightly feminine, but what an uplifting scent, a real mood booster.

Definitely something that could be classified as more feminine, or at least less masculine. I like to think of it as lighter or brighter (or sweeter) scented, instead. Personally, I don't care for musky scents. Some I like initially, but they wear on me fast. I usually end up nauseous in a few minutes. I guess it's a sensitivity? Some I get away with, though. For example: classic old spice isn't for me at all, but the Old spice tube for the India market is good. I don't knowme
Just got some new samples including South Padre - straight up flowers, to my nose. Can't quite pick out what, but I am getting all floral. I'm not a big floral fan either, so this is a pass.
Also a sample of Creamy Coconut - a very light, sweet coconut and coconut milk scent.
Finally, Island Man. I have had this in a hand soap for a while, so I figured at least have a shave or two here and there.
Edit: Almost forgot, a sample of Queen of Hearts to add to my homemade tub. I should have just bought a full tub, as I already know it's going to go quick. Guess I have reason to go back for another order.
mrdoug, “lighter or brighter” is a good way to put it.
Some scents definitely get overbearing with time, and then of course there are others that just don’t seem quite strong enough. I really liked the original South Padre, so I may have to revisit the updated version. Will have to keep Queen of Hearts in mind, too, as I had ruled it out because the name makes it sound like it’s entirely intended for women. (I enjoy a lot of unisex scents, but there’s a “tipping point” there somewhere.)
Honestly, I don’t know how Stirling does it. There are still some scents that have been around for 2–3 years that I haven’t tried, and now there’s suddenly a dozen new ones…

QoH is a good scent, I really like it. It was marketed toward women, but he actually found more men were buying it. The scent is a complex, gourmand one with lots of carmel and fruit. While I can see Rod's thinking, on the other side of the coin, I don't want my wife telling me I can't have dessert because chocolate cake isn't manly enough. Lol. Keep in mind, I don't use cologne or scented aftershaves, and if I did, this one would be a no-go. (As would South Padre, for that matter... It's too floral for me to wear).
Still, it probably worth a 3$ sample puck in your next order.
