This will be a great brush for your first badger, I suspect! Make sure you post what you think of the brush. Pictures are required appreciated!

Well let me re-word that. It'll be my first "real" badger.

I've used a cheapo $4 eBay badger....and although it gets the job done, it is as expected not a good brush. However, I've seen some of the positive qualities of a badger in that brush. It's a very small knot, but it holds a ton of lather.

But here's the bad part. It's super floppy, feels sharp on the skin, and splays oddly. That being said, it's still a good brush for $4.

I'll be sure to post some pics when it comes. It's scheduled to come in on Saturday, but usually USPS deliveries get to me ahead of schedule. So it's very possible that it'll be in my mailbox when I wake up in the morning.

Rod, earlier today I was actually just thinking of writing to ask how the other brushes were coming along. The picture you posted of them in April on Instagram is simply beautiful. Been waiting patiently since I saw it, but now I understand how big of an undertaking it is. Thanks for the updates!

I forgot about that. Yeah, here's a picture of those. Left is the Kong, Li'l Brudder on the right, a silvertip that I'm probably not going to do second from the right, and the dense 26mm 2-band second from the left.

2-bands are my favorite type of badger brush and the one you have there is absolutely beautiful, especially if its coming for a nice price. Count me in for that one Rod. Thanks for offering all of these great brushes for such excellent prices, you're killing it out there.

Alright. It came in the mail today. After a test lather - I'm extremely pleased.

Damn this thing built lather quick. And it holds a ton of lather!!!

It felt great on face, and released the lather far thicker then I'm used to. It also held the perfect amount of water. I used VDH luxury to test it out and usually this soap is very thirsty and I find myself adding water as I go. Not the case here.

It was definitely a different experience then my boar and synthetic brushes. I'm very happy so far.
