Damn, came here looking for reviews of the 24mm badger and now I see a 26mm in the future!

Well, I think I'll still get the 24 now. Could get the 26 down the line and still come out ahead vs. a midrange badger elsewhere!

Totally worth it. Used mine today for the first time and I'm happy with the 24mm as a really great medium-sized brush at this price point. I only wish the handle had a little bit more heft.

So there's going to be a denser silver tip badger release in the fall am I correct ? I'm thinking about getting a synthetic also. I've got a cheap badger I bought off amazon that I just get by with right now.

Well..... Just used this brush this morning and noticed it's starting to crack. Only shaved with this about 5 times maybe.

If you are referring to mine no it's not. It's a cheap Amazon pure badger brush.

I went thru the entire thread and enjoyed reading about the brush.

I do have a few questions:

1) How is the softness of the hair compared to Simpson (best) or Edwin Jagger brushes (super)?
2) How much backbone does this have? Is it on the floppier side or very stiff?
3) How does the Stirling Finest compare to the other "cheap" finest from Ace, TGN, Virgina Sheng, etc?

Oh - first post here. Glad to be on board! Mostly hang out on B&B but I am diversifying. Smile
