New SE razor - the Rocnel

True. I was disappointed to learn that the razor does not use a standard SE blade. On the other hand, one of the great advantages of DE blades is the wide range of choice. And maybe, just maybe, the design of the razor is such that the half-blade is held rigid -- maybe even, dare I say it, more rigid than in a DE razor? I certainly don't know. But for the stated price, I decided I couldn't go wrong by pre-ordering. We shall see....

I'm on the waiting list. It costs nothing to get on the list while waiting for more info.

I'll pick one up after people have them in their hand @ $25/razor.

If you look at their de Razor with stand its $295 how could a razor with a similar se razor with stainless steel stand cost only $25

There is no, as far as I know, stand for the SE razor.
Murat has confirmed the price in both a forum post here, different thread, as well as in a reply in an email.

Not sure what there is to discuss about the price. Before you eventually pay (supposedly in Match) you'll of course also see what the total is.
