razorock Can you provide more detail on how regular, +, and ++ baseplates differ from each other? What increments of differentiation are we talking about?

Also where do Lvl 1-3 stack up in your chart? Seen a couple comments say Lv1 is mild/medium and Lvl 3 is close to the Wunderbar?

Hi Slantman,
This is a completely different razor from the Wunderbar, in terms of geometry.
The SuperSlant tops and bases are not compatible with the Wunderbar.
Currently, we have 5 different plates for sale, there is a total of 9 plus 2-3 OC bases coming in early 2023.
I think we have really perfected the slant geometry after 2 long & expensive years of prototyping and testing; I know everyone says this, but this is truly the smoothest and most efficient slant I've shaved with, I have been using it on my head for months now and every time I try something else I got right back to it. The nice thing about the SuperSlant is it can be customized from very mild to extremely aggressive and anywhere in between.  Hopefully, community members can trade and try different bases amongst themselves, maybe settling on 2-3 they like the best.
Thank you Joe for the explanation. It is right to the point. I ordered the L3 yesterday and you already shipped it.  Thank you

Hi surfboat,

The "+" plates have a milled chamfer on the guard that creates extra aggression
The "++" plates have a milled step on the guard that creates a little more aggression from the "+"

As a general guide, the L1 plates will fall into the mild-medium area, the L2 plates into the medium-aggressive and the L3 plates into the aggressive with the L3++ being at the very top of the scale. In the near future we will add the SuperSlant to the razor scale on IB.

For me, the L2++ and the L3 would be the closest to the Wunderbar in terms of aggression but the Superslant is much smoother.

I hope this helps a little.

We are trying to get these out as fast as possible because we know a lot of people are excited to try.

We are also excited to hear the feedback.

Thanks for your business, Slantman.

I would love to try one with different plates on a DFS pass around.  Please consider it.  Thanks.

Is the L3++ available, Maybe I just didn't see it on the web site? Oh and does this mean L 3, L3+ and L3++ all or some will come later

I like Wunderbar, if this new razor is smoother, I can easily go to L3+ or L3++.
It could be nice whether you can send some razors for passaround.
Your razors have excellent value, I wanna get one, but I need to know which one btw 3 plates (L3,L3+ or L3++) I should order.
I have more than 30 razors (most of them CNC machined), I don't wanna get extra razors or heads.

First shave the Superslant level 3

Very impressed with my first shave. It was simply awesome. I used a Personna Lab Blue and applied aloe vera followed b Bigelow eucalyptis shave cream (made by Proraso). Loading a blade was no issue as some guys were complaining about.. Just insert the blade push it down gently being very careful and then screw down the handle until the blade crunches into place.

I did my usual two passes. Extremely smooth and incredibly close. With level 3 there is definitely blade feel but it presents zero problem. I am not sure what some people expect out of a razor regardless of price because surprise surprise it has only one function and that is to shave. And this razor delivers.
