Got a replacement from Fendrihan yesterday and had a shave with it this morning.
Don't know if I got another lemon, but check the blade:

Checked with two different blades with the same result.
The shave was ok, but the blade had chatter, coupled with uneven blade gap.
Fendrihan sent me a gift card, thanks!
Needless to say, this razor will go back in its box...  Sad

I am a bit curious-does the magnet in the base plate protrude up above the floor of the base plate? The bow in the blade (if I am seeing it correctly) suggest that the base plate has a curve/divot in it which is matched by non-planarity in the head? I can't think of anything else that would do that? Maybe uneven plating thickness?

Yes, there's a bow in the blade.
The magnet is probably a tad lower than the base plate floor, and the bow must come from the magnet pulling on the blade, but I don't understand why that would happen if the base plate was straight.
I won't get a third one though, that's for sure...
