I've been around DFS for about a week. I like this forum. I've been around various shaving forums, the usual suspects, since 2007. Started shaving with Gillette DEs in about 1963. I never did go the cartridge route, I'm too cheap. 
I switched to the Gillette two blade disposable 'Good News' as soon as they became available and never looked back. In '06 a friend found the wet shaving forums and got me interested.
Before I knew it I was back shaving with Gillette DEs and many other DEs. My favorites when I started were the slant razors. I've put together quite an assortment of those. Went with straight razors for a good while and now, at 70, I'm more or less back to DE and SE. A straight when the mood strikes me, but that is few and far between. The artisan razors from Wolfman, Charcoal Goods, Blackbird and Timeless are what I mostly use nowadays. Anyway, thought it was about time I introduced myself.
