New Forest brushes

I'm not sure how Fido handles brush sales today, but I know his older brushes were made in small quantities.

Yeah , I think that's still the case. When I bought my Tubby 2 it was after a few attempts since they were sold out most times I tried.

I love my New Forest. Can't remember the model now. I bought it about a month ago and was sad to hear that Fido is closing up shop. Unless someone knows any different, he told me he was closing because of poor health and is selling out his inventory. I had asked about a Tubby but sadly they are no more. If you've been interested now is the time to buy.

that's a shame to hear. I hadn't heard about that before now though. I'll check on his site, see what he has left to sell.

Fido still comes on The Shaving Room Site in the UK. Not heard much about New Forest brushes of late. Went quiet.
The NFTubby 2 is great quality

Great timming on this thread. I'm in the maket for a new brush and never heard of New Forest before.

where did you see him mention that he was closing up shop? I can't find anything on his sites about this.

I emailed him and asked if he was still making Tubby brushes. He responded that he was not and that he was soon retiring for health reasons. This was probably in late April.

Peter confirmed today that he is winding up his company and retiring
There are still a few brushes on his site remaining going at very good prices
