New Blackland Era

I have one of those

Since Shane has put out just about every type of razor (DE,AC,Gem) I am thinking 1/2 blade DE . Personna injector is another possibility but its a long shot.

Nah.  Half DE is way too mundane.  Knapped Flint!  ...  No need for strops and whetstones anymore.

Blackland Razors already told us, more or less, what he was going to be coming out with in 2021 (assuming this is it) a few months back in a thread on DFS...

A few years back Shane was thinking of developing the ultimate Slant (twisted head) razor ... Hope springs eternal

Fun thread. Not forged, but I love the way you guys think. I almost feel a little guilty for this teaser.

As well you should!  Just kidding...I love the anticipation and speculation.  It is all part of the fun.

Yep. I will add on and guess that the "departure" is multiple baseplates to meet your aggressive preferences.

Hardly innovative, pretty sure it’s more than that

My guess is that Era is a 3 piece razor with multiple base plate. and each base plate varies in terms of blade gap and blade exposure. Maybe it predates what CG is now preparing for.

or Era is a razor which accepts more than one type of blade.

That's my guess based on the term 'versatile' that Shane mentioned in the previous thread.
