Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I got the soap and aftershave in today. I love the smell. It has a citrus type smell to it. A very refreshing smell. Also the whole packaging was very colorful, and fun.

I finally got a sample of the soap & AS and used it today. The new Excelsior base is unbelievably slick as I knew from Vespers, however this sickeningly sweet scent is not for me. Cry

As always YMMV, but I love this scent and don’t find it cloying at all. It smells like Apricots and Sugar Cookies to me. It definitely evokes childhood memories for me of being at my Grandparents house. My Grandfather had an Apricot Orchard and my Grandma made heavenly Sugar Cookies, so I’m sure my opinion of it is biased   Wink .
