I can't begin to count the number of customers who went from "I think I'm going to return this" to "this is the best razor I've ever used" after more shaving time. I get these emails and calls all the time and this is the reason we offer a 30-day return policy instead of a 24-hour one.

Do whatever you'd like, but I think you'll have a tough time convincing many people that trying something multiple times isn't a more robust way of testing a product than a single shave is.

Yes, I thought a mod added it! I went back to read the post I first saw it on, looking for what prompted it! I typically fall for stuff like that, especially from Dave!

That's funny. I'm so proud of Dave for that one!
Mr Dave is always up for some jokes, so I don't have to worry about cuttin' up around that guy, he'll just jump in and help have fun.

Thank you for your permission to do whatever I like, this is the approval I was craving.

You, on the other hand, can be as adversarial as you like.

After all, you flog razors, so I can see why certain viewpoints may not appeal to your
commercial sensibilities.

My post, however, acknowledges that others may think differently, and invites diverse opinions
instead of trying to shut them down.

As a community of users, we discuss products, behaviours and trends, so potential buyers can
benefit from a broad range of views.I thank you for your thoughts, but I think you're being a little
assumptive in implying that I am trying to convince people of MY viewpoint.

Let me share a wonderful to reply to this topic, that is not only right on the money, but also shows that
what I've stated is an opinion shared by a growing number of shavers. I couldn't have said it better myself:

And the other way around too.
I did not care much for Feather blades in any of my vintage or new razors.
Then I got I got my Henson AL13 (Mild), and I decided "gee, this Feather is giving me a pretty good shave, even after a dozen uses. I should get me some more of them."

My main point being that my opinion of them became more favourable than when I first used them.
I found my QShave Futur clone pretty scary to use at first, then I got used to it. Now I kinda' like it just for the variety.

Posting Freak
I guess I have thoughts on this. Whether it’s hardware or software I generally love it or not on first use. Occasionally I will eventually like something I didn’t like initially provided that I try it again. An example in the software realm would be B&M Leviathan. Didn’t like it on first use but grew to appreciate it. As far as razors go there’s far less of the grow to like it that happens for me. There’s definitely better and worse razor and blade combinations but there are razors that I didn’t like immediately and never will like.   I’m not going to get bent if, on recounting my experience on a forum, guys might ask if I’m a beginner or suggest I improve my technique. They don’t know me and maybe I am a rookie and seriously, we can all improve our technique. I’ve been using a Rockwell 6s a lot lately and it’s so forgiving that I become lazy with my technique. I’m generally reminded of this on using a less forgiving razor.  Life is too short for bad shaves.

Despite the forgoing, I still think it’s good advice that someone give their new razor a fair chance before demanding a refund or posting it on the BST.  Try it with different blades, make sure your prep is on point and give it a fair shot. You might like it.

Perhaps if both seller and buyer are located in the same country, return window is generous and postage efficiency is predictable,
this sounds reasonable.
