Just ordered the ZO74, so I will post my experience once I receive it.

Same here....a Z074 on order -- looking to compare to the N075 and the P076Ti which are, yes, two very different razors.

According to Aji, the Z074 is the updated N075:

"The new Z074 Ti-5 is a redesigned and the updated N075. There will be no N075 in Titanium and the parts are not interchangeable. The new Z074 Ti-5 is machined finish to high standards.

I would place Z074 in between, in the middle of both N075 and P076 in terms of efficiency. The smoothness of this new Z074 is on another level with zero blade feel that can only be achieved by using Titanium material while maximum efficiency is retained and can be used as a daily driver.

I've come to a conclusion at this stage of growth in terms of razor development and performance that smoothness is my goal and my first priority while maintaining efficiency and maneuverability.

In my opinion, Z074 is the smoothest razor coming out of H&S this year. I think a lot of people will be surprised by the overall look quality and more importantly, performance of this razor. To me, Z074 is the ultimate shaving instrument."

I really liked the regular N075 but this looks much sleeker.

Well, I ordered one lol. The N075 is so comfortable, but just not QUITE efficient enough for me to keep, but the P076 was a little too much for me. If the Z074 is between the two of them, it could be just what I'm looking for.

really like the machined finish on that Z074. Machined finish also available in the 316L P076 but no photos up.

On the Haircut & Shave website:

N075--Medium Aggressive
P076--Medium Aggressive
Z074--Mild Medium

It appears that Aji is not suggesting that the Z074 sits between his two current offerings, rather to the Milder side of the N075.

That is bizarre because the N075 and P076 are NOTHING alike. Someone said the Z074 is basically a titanium N075. If that's the case, it could be the lighter weight that's contributing to the lower aggressiveness rating versus the N075, similar to how people say the Blackbird Ti is smoother than the Blackbirds in brass and stainless.

The two "Medium Aggressive"s on the website could be older descriptions; that's the kind of thing that gets written and then never fixed.  Today, Aji basically told me the same thing as Fedsbackhand posted -- I had asked him directly as to how the Z074 compared to the N0 and P0s in terms of efficiency and he said it was in between the two.  In any event, next week at least some of us will have Z0s to try, and we can give our own reactions.

I don't mind the lower efficiency of the N075. It makes it a good daily shaver. However, I feel like the blade exposure is maybe a bit less than neutral. Something in between the two existing options could be perfect. Thanks!

Living on the edge
There is no mention of this Z074 on his site...where does one read about it?

The only thing on the website is the product listing. Everything else mentioned here is private correspondence. Said it before, aji should make use of the blog section of his website or send out email blasts.
