A Saucerful of Secrets - Pink Floyd

This was the last of Barrett as a Pink Floyd member. It, however, is yet highly derivative of his influence with brief glimpses of the brilliance that was to come in future works represented in recurring note patterns occurring in songs and Waters' tracks specifically. All in all, about on par with Pink Floyd's post Waters work from Momentary Lapse of Reason onward; while not a bad effort for a band finding its genius in the case of Saucerful of Secrets contrasted with simply cashing in on the fame from previous work in the case of Momentary Lapse of Reason.

More - Pink Floyd

The first album where Waters exerted his presence.  While of a period, it clearly has hallmarks of evolving the Pink Floyd sound.  Think it quite extraordinary for the time from such a young band emerging from losing its leader

I just finished re-watching the Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip, so then I had to watch this again too.

Atom Heart Mother - Pink Floyd

Good God in Heaven, this changed everything.  It was a Water's Pink Floyd album with feint traces of musical industry elements of the day!  Some feel this the greatest album they ever released; while not in concurrence, it difficult to argue it not one of their best albums and established an entirely new music genre.
