OK, so this is clearly more of a prank than serious music...
Our new car doesn't have a CD player but a place where a smart phone or a flash drive plugs into. More on that in a bit. That left all of my CDs without a home. I contacted the neighbor who has a similar car but hers has a CD player. Yes, she wanted all of my CDs. I made a special CD may years ago labeled "Christmas Favorites" when I was working. It was put out just waiting for someone to slip it into the computer to play in the shop. No matter what song was displayed on the screen it was always Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. So return to the present. I copied the CD and put it in with what I gave our neighbor once she was assured that, "It is classical music and classical rock, oh, and one CD of Christmas music.". I called her today to talk to her husband and asked if she was able to play the CDs as they were old disks. She said,"Yes, but we need to talk...". It seems she played the Christmas CD and was on track 12 when she got to town. She never remembered that part of the Nutcracker being that long before. So she went to track 20 and it was the same, as was track 35. I was in hysterics as was my wife as I had her pick up. The guys at work claimed I was sick. Our neighbor thought that it was funny and couldn't wait to try it out on family and friends. I thought it was a good prank. I still do.
OK, return to the new car. I don't have a smart phone and at this time never will. So I bought a 256gb flash drive to put CDs on. I have 50 some odd MP3 cds on it and maybe room for another 1000. Just amazing. Many more CDs than I had in the car before and it's smaller than the size of my little finger, with room for more CDs than I own. Of course a smart phone will open up more possibilities than just music, but I don't want one.
