Put on an eclectic rock mix this evening, including:

The Allman Brothers - Whipping Post

Alice in Chains - Rooster

Aerosmith - Living on the Edge

System of a Down - I-E-A-I-A-I-O

I found a 30 minute news podcast I like. Pretty straight forward style. The amount of time works out pretty good for shower & shave.

Ooh! That's a great idea. Never get a chance to sit and watch the news. Read a good amount, but a podcast seems like smart time usage.

Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Symphony No.5 in E minor, Op.64
Daniele Gatti/Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

I remember playing this beautiful symphony for the gathered teachers/music score buyers of the Western Music Educators National Conference, in a selected summer 'sight-reading' orchestra when I was in high school. We played brief parts - usually 3-5 minutes - from dozens of newly published arrangements of orchestral pieces, for over 2 hours, so that the teachers could choose ones they wanted to purchase for their school orchestras. It was very challenging, since many of us had never seen or heard a lot of the pieces before at all; we were very dependent upon the conductor to guide us through them.
