I picked up some Muhle shaving soap a few weeks back. It is available in Sandalwood, Aloe Vera and Sea Buckthorn.
I always thought that the Edwin Jagger soaps were the same as Muhle. I have used EJ soaps in the past and enjoyed them.
But this Muhle soap is better than the EJ. It is faintly scented as are the EJ soaps. I would not buy either for the scent properties.
The Muhle is creamy and rich. A better lather than the EJ. The glide and cushion is excellent. This is simply a great shop.
I like the EJ and enjoyed my shaves. But it was never a top tier soap for me. This Muhle is in my top 5 right behind older Crabtree & Evelyn and L Occitane Cade.
I may purchase a new EJ to see if the soaps were re-formulated and to see if it can go toe to toe with the Muhle.
For around $10 this Muhle is good stuff.
