All Rocca razors bought direct from Mühle have the V4 head.
The V4 is CNC machined stainless compared to MIM (Metal Injection Molding) on the previous versions.
The V4 has a solid threaded post vs the previous versions which were hollow.
If asked nicely Mühle will often replace V3 heads with the latest V4 for free!

The center post is what I look at in BST posts. Sometimes it's hard to see those MIM circles that are on the underside of the cap.
This razor is on my short list. I usually like black handles so the R96 was my top pick but after reading people mention the birch bark handles feeling so good in their hands it makes me want to try one of those instead. Eventually I’ll find a good deal on one and give it a go.
I wonder if some prefer earlier generations of the Rocca to the later Gen 4?
