I hadn't used my SS Blackbird in a few months but the last time I did use it, amazing shaves. I like the way  the SS weight mows the hair down.
It sort of reminds me of hitting a baseball in the sweet spot of a bat, solid, sound hit.

I’m adding the Blackbird Ti to my list. In order my updated list:
Raw Rs-10, Blackbird Ti, Paradigm Diamondback 2020, Yates 921-H, H&S P076 17-4

Interesting. I'm definitely getting blade feel out of the Blackbird Ti and H&S P076 17-4. Granted, the title of the thread isn't "zero blade feel" but worth mentioning.

Using those two razors (and I guess the Diamondback 2020 if you don't mind) as a reference point, how does the RAW RS-10 feel? Not sure which base plate you're using. Thanks!

Also interesting.  Like Zhang Doe, I also got a lot of blade feel out of the Blackbird and the P076 in 17-4.  Weren't at all for me.  On the other hand, the P076 in Copper, now THAT'S been efficient and without much blade feel. Some feel, but hardly any, and -- for me -- the copper is smoioth.  That one was a keeper.

The RS-10 Aggressive plate has less blade feel/smoother than the BB Ti and H&S P076, but I think both the BB Ti and H&S P076 are a little more efficient. The Diamondback has the least blade feel of the razors I mentioned even more than the RS-10. The RS-10 has perfect amount of blade feel to hear you cutting your whiskers and its buttery smooth while in action too. The RS-10 can bite if you go to fast, but if you take your time you are rewarded with an irritation free BBS. Raw RS-10 is my favorite razor for the ATG Pass aka the Money Pass. Again that’s my experience and YmMV.

I usually only do an ATG pass, so that extra comment is especially helpful. Definitely want an RS-10.

I shave steep with all of my razors. Are there razors you prefer to run shallow? If so, which?

Highly recommend you try the Lupo .95 if you haven’t yet. IMO, it beats the RS10 Aggressive plate in smoothness and efficiency. The only razor that can go first pass ATG under my chin more smoothly is the Paradigm 17-4 and it’s significantly less efficient than the Lupo. The Lupo also resists clogging far better than the RS10.

Only two razors, I am using that steep angle, are Blackbird and WR2 1.55. only difference I am adding pressure in Blackbird, no pressure to WR2

Some razors with less blade exposure, I would prefer to use narrow angle to get efficient shave, are Colonial, many vintage Gillette razors, PAA Maze etc..

Some razors with lower profile head, I prefer narrower to get more comfortable shave, are Ikon Tech, WR1, Lupo, H&S etc..
