Well now at Maggards for $165 US a mongoose that takes injector Blades.

Never heard of it, not too sure what to think of it. May take one for a spin but $165 for an injector razor is a little steep.

Interesting, but...

It looks bulky. I may be completly wrong though.
I’ve been using a Sabre for most of two months and I like the slim profile. I’ve mentioned that I replaced the handle. But the head geometry is quite enjoyable.

That's pricey - especially since it looks like it's not an actual injector razor. Just a scaled down AC version that accepts smaller blades.

I love the original mongoose. Price seems to be comparable for an all SS razor. I’ve never tried injector blades. Can anyone comment on how they perform with respect to Other SE and DE blades?

seems like most people prefer the schick branded injector blades over anything else out there on the market, as far as I can remember. note, this is a 4 pack of the blades: https://www.amazon.com/Schick-Injector-B...B001E6VHUQ

Yes, the "Chick" blades made in China are really an incredible blade, smooth and sharp. As regards this razor, well I can buy a lot of vintage Schick injector razors for that amount. The "Chick" blade in a run of the mill old Schick injector is simply divine to shave with. YMMV.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

My favorite razor is the Schick Adjustable with ChickII blades
I have another L type that uses the same twin blades but have not tried it out yet.
I will have to wait until the ned of April when I return home from Australia.
After that there should e more people who have tried it out.
Thanks for the heads up.
Ron
