Thanks for the notice. I just bought one.

Just out of curiosity, have any of the Wild Honeysuckle users had any issues with skin sensitivity when using the soap? I only ask since Mike says that the (fragrance in the) soap is quite potent.

(Of course, this may end up not mattering much in my case, since the soap is out of stock again…) Smile

Matt, I have used the Wild Honeysuckle a few times now and no sensitivity at all. Smells great to me. One of the nice things about Mike's soaps is you know what your getting. The EO/FO's are pretty straightforward which helps when locked in a conference room for a meeting with 10 others sitting in close quarters! Wink

Thanks, sounds great! Honeysuckles (the plants) can have a really nice scent to them, so I’ll have to keep my eye out and see if more batches of the soap will be produced in the future. I do have relatively sensitive skin, which is why I had to take Mike’s disclaimer seriously and see if anyone had had any issues.

Still interested in hearing of others’ expriences, and thanks for sharing yours, vtmax!

Matt, just used Wild Honeysuckle for the first time tonight. To my knowledge I've not had any irritation from any soap, only from my own heavy hands wielding the blade, so I'm not much help with that aspect.

The scent however is terrific.  I fall into the category of wishing most soaps were scented a little heavier but for me this one is about perfect for this type of scent. I'm still cupping my hands around my nose to catch any remaining still lingering on my mustache & goatee. Smile

I didn't get any irritation.

Lately MdC and WSP veggie have been giving me a burning sensation during the shave with hot red blotches later in the day. It's so weird because I've used the MdC about twice a week for over a year when all of the sudden this started for me a few weeks ago. I'm actually kind of bummed out about it.

Mike's if anything has been a relief that seems to calm my skin. Mike's and Tabac of all things. I never considered myself to have sensitive skin before a few weeks ago.

Wolverine and bakerbarber, thanks for sharing your experiences. (And sorry to hear about the issues with MdC and WSP.)

It’s good to know that Mike continues to produce soaps that do the skin good — even if the scent level on some is rather robust. I’ll have to keep an eye out for more Wild Honeysuckle, and I’m also interested in Lily of the Valley, just like many others seem to be. Seems like this would be a good time of the year for it to make a comeback.
