Good morning and Happy 50th Birthday Polovez !

January 7th? I initially thought that may have been a reference to the Epiphany, but that would be the 6th for our calendar. So I went and looked it up. If Wikipedia is correct, January 7 is the 'same (Christmas) day' on the old Julian Calendar? That is quite smart, I must say!

Well, I still say Merry Christmas to you now, and I'll be back on 1/7 to repeat it. In this world, we'd probably do well with Christmas cheer year round.

Many thanks ! Yes, that's such an interesting situation. It's morning for you, and it's already evening for me. Russia does celebrate Christmas according to the old Julian calendar. And today in Russia is an ordinary day (not a holiday).

Man I was hoping they wouldn't hang us, and certainly not looking forward to it!  Confused

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

It's like the blues, the best stuff comes from dead guys.
