Merkur Progress has various customizations.
A few years ago, it had become a fad.
Over time I have appreciated:
• Digress
• Eskimo Adjustable
• Mergress
• Transgress

I haven't seen anything new for some time.
Did I miss something?

not something for purchase, or for those that like super-polished looking razors... but you can grind down the side-posts and shoulders to allow the adjustment to go down further and make it a bit milder of a shaver.

Are the Transgress or Custom Hack available for sale anywhere or are these long gone?

I've asked you on another forum to please not take my photo's from elsewhere and please not use them without attribution. Finding a pic with Google does not put that pic in the public domain, and finding a pic with google means info on whose pic it is is just one click away. The way you present the photos now implies they're your pics, and they are not.
So, again, please do not use my pics without attribution.
Have a nice day!

Hi, Richard.
I've updated the picture, so now It has your username and (other) forum origin.
And I've replaced the old pic in the groups where I've shared initially.

BTW, the pics come from the spanish forum and I've just used from there.

As you can see, the time stamp of my post here is before your request.
Today I had time and I've look into my logs to find old pics and URLs to have back original datas to work with.
Hope It's fair for you, and you like the result.

Just remember I have only reposted part of your original photos.
I edited them to make the collage, and my logo on It is just about this: editing.
To be clear, now I've added the detail to my logo too in that pic.

I hope this misunderstanding is closed.
I dont' care about othes using my pics in forums.
I use my name and logo on my own pics just in case of unauthorized commercial use.

Have a nice day, and good Easter.

Thank you very much Pierpaolo! As far as I'm concerned, the issue is closed and we can continue with what we like best: enjoy great razors!

Thanks for showing us all those. I was aware of the Mergress (of course), the Digress, and the Eskimo but was unaware that there were any other customized Progress models out there. I particularly like the FdR model as shown, with the brass having acquired a patina. Sharp!

(disclosure: I'm a mod at FdR/SU)
Thanks. This effect was reached by first bluing, then slightly polishing the knob.
This razor was a one-off action, around 40 knobs were made.
Have a nice day!
