Merkur 34c HD - Just a beginners razor?

It was my training wheels razor. The truth is I still love it and use it in my 8 razor rotation. Although my favorite's are a NEW SC and 55 Red Tip, the 34C stills maintains the first slot in my 6 hole razor holder.

34c seems to be the one everyone returns to. Has a nice neutral gap, good heft, and being a two piece makes it a nice touch.
