Hey all, today at 11am Eastern, a couple things are coming out at ChatillonLux.com, DeclarationGrooming.com, Maggard Razors and, if not at the release time, soon to come after at Top of the Chain.

Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli
  • Eau de Toilette: This scent builds upon the shaving scent to be a richer, fuller experience. The yuzu citrus is given more depth and longevity, with the addition of neroli tinging the edges. The rose is a touch more refined, while the patchouli is woodier and rounded out.
  • Soap: available in the Declaration Grooming standard bison-tallow base

Colonia Balsamica - Runs until June 9
  • Chatillon Lux products: there will be an eau de toilette, aftershave, toner and salve
  • Declaration Grooming: available in the standard bison-tallow base

Thanks everybody! I think old-school Y/R/P fans will love the enhanced EdT scent and newcomers will find it to be a great gateway to it.

Picked them both up. This will be soap number 8 and 9 of Declaration Grooming I've bought over the past few months. I think between the collaboration of Chatillon Lux and Declaration Grooming we have a favorite soap for me now. I love wholly kaw and their performance is probably just a touch better, but the scents on Declaration Grooming products combined with the fantastic performance just adds up to the ultimate in artisan soaps for me right now. Just my absolute favorite brands. I hope for my wallet's sake, I can stay away from the Chatillon Lux Aftershave/Balms or else I'm going to really be hurting.

Declaration is my favorite soap as well, and Chatillon Lux is my favorite aftershave. I also enjoy the CL EdTs, and picked up the last Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli EdT from Maggard’s about ten minutes ago. (I needed a soap container as well, or I would have ordered directly from CL.) Either Maggard’s didn’t get much stock, or this stuff is selling like hot cakes.

I have been waiting so long for the Y/R/P EdT and am now looking forward to its arrival. I also ordered a sample of the Fourth and Pine Eau de Cologne because the accord sounds like it should be amazing. I cannot wait for them to arrive.

I've been hauling around a bottle of Fourth and Pine EdC for about a month. I spray it a couple of times, a couple of times per day. It's a faithful tribute to the aftershave, but a bit more interesting. Just as the EdTs in Bon Vivant, Rose Santal, Gratiot League Square and La Forêt de Liguest pay homage yet amplify their respective aftershave scents. The Fourth and Pine, as an EdC, has less longevity and sillage than its EdT brethren, in my experience, which is why I feel good spraying it several times per day.

The CL Y/R/P is my favorite CL scent. I have two bottles of the aftershave and a salve in that flavor. I'm really looking to the EdT.

I'm pretty much sending all my money to CL and DG these days, LOL. Got Gratiot League Square and La Quatrieme Ville, Santal Auster, Fourth and Pine and Pure Lavender, Unconditional Surrender, Y/R/P and Colonia Balsamica... All with soap and toner, some with salve and/or EdT. And that's just this year. UNCLE!

The best part? Not a single loser in the bunch. Just great stuff, great scents.

I’m enjoying all of them. The two new soap scents are spectacular! The Yuzu is very refreshing.

Awesome, thanks, man. Although, the good news is that this year we're not doing the one-LE-per-week like we did last year for the CL anniversary, so console your wallet with that at least Smile

Hopefully today's shipment is just as pleasing as the rest. Okay, off to go pack it up now.

Hey Shawn, wanted to pop in and say the Colonia Balsamica scent is turning out to be a very strong contender for "favorite offering" from yours. When I last smelled it at Pastuers three months back, I was quite turned off. And no wonder, those are some strong musky / herbal notes straight out of the bottle! However, now that I have mustered the courage to apply on my skin, I find the top to be quite the effervescent musk (are aldehydes a "easter egg" note in this?) which segues into a white floral mid, before ending with a warm slightly ambery scent which contributes to the impression of warm, clean skin. I compare it very favorably with my favorite Maison Francis Kurkdjian scent, Aqua Universalis.

Hey Shi, thank you! I'm really glad you're enjoying it. Very high praise to be compared to MFK; he does amazing work. I think that is definitely the trouble with making a scent with herbal notes: they're definitely going to jump out of the bottle, so I'm glad you gave it a shot! There aren't any aldehydes, but I there is something in there designed to enhance the citrus notes for sure. Thanks again and have a great one!
