A recent announce on BST suddenly reminded me about the misinformation wandering around this brand.  But it also reminded me that, in all these years, I was still missing one last piece from what is commonly referred as “classic” I Coloniali Mango line.
So my OCD kicked in and here’s what he found:

May be the fanciest terms I’ve ever heard in place of Eau de toilette. Not as labeled of course, but I had it at fairly honest price for some fine pre-IFRA juice.

Whole famiglia pic - plus legit intruder:

Because of its scent? I agree, it’s unique and amazing - and the main reason why I got a backup too.
Because of its performance? No sorry, not at all... Any single modern soap outpass this 30yrs old semi industrial vegetal base by miles imho.
Was it good? Sure, better than a Proraso or a TFS (speaking about Italian soaps ). But there’s only ONE old Italian shaving soap to really mourn for its passing. I'm sure you know who I’m talking about...

I LOVE it purely for the scent and do mourn it. Fortunately still have 1 and need to use it tomorrow now that you got it in my head Big Grin

A man can't have too many friends, afs, edts, or razors/brushes. I would also include cars, guns, and knives.

Received this little brush from Dscosmetic yesterday. It's a 26mm very cheap, basic brush. I wasn't expecting much... In fact I was sure I'd just wasted $18. However to my surprise it's beautiful and exactly as I hoped. The knot is quite plain with a huge Glue bump and I was sure it was not going to work for me. To my surprise, again, it was actually a very nice feeling knot. While a bit smaller feeling, it held enough lather for 3+ passes. So, I'm pretty happy and quite surprised. I am thinking of starting a thread where everybody confesses about how many years of shaving stuff we estimate that we have. It would be like a group confession with absolution offered. People could just give a number of months/years or go into detail with a full inventory of their addiction. We could all start off by saying. "I have no power over wet shaving supplies".......
