The tub of Leo-nerd arrived. It's a mild barbershop scent similar to Stirling’s barbershop and it has that speckled bloom on it. I’m not rushing out to get any more Pinnacle Grooming products anytime soon. If it weren’t for the label art I’d not have bought it in the first place. I still think my son is going to like it.

I've had soaps do that Mark including Wholly Kaw. Never effected the soap quality I agree it is off putting.

Green Cult Razor finally got in from Austria. The stock handle that comes with it is 4". I prefer a smaller handle so I attached a Razorine Flat Boy handle.

Yes, I’ve seen it before too and you’re right. It’s gone after the first time if you load from the tub which I believe my son does. If you’re a scoop, press into lather bowl and lather from there person which I am then you’d be looking like at that stuff for a while. I think its some of the fats condensing out of solution. While it is off putting, it’s not the crazy biohazard growth that can happen with some other brand(s).

After Bob Quinn at Elite Razor ruined the lettering on my vintage Rooney 3/3 Ebony brush while re-knotting it, I sent it to Brad Sears to be salvaged somewhat. He and Lee Sabini put a Morris & Forndran Finest knot in it and re-lettered the handle with their logos, and it is somewhat closer now to the original. But why in the world they put the number 2 on it, when it is a Style 3 Size 3 brush, I don't understand at all. I guess it's just almost impossible to get things done right these days...
