ANG69 that is a Beauty! The Rod Stock and the Knot on that Brush look Outstanding! I’d love to hear your thoughts on this knot, Paladin seems to be upping their game with these new knots. I tried for the Lime Green Chief this release but struck out. Maybe next time.

I confess to being a skeptic when it came to Declaration knots. But I now must join the chorus - everything you have read about the B5 knots is true. Reference knots in my den include the Elite Manchurian, Paladin CLSA5, Paladin CWHB5.
In a couple of words, luxuriously dense and soft. It has less backbone compared to my Elite knot, but more so than my Paladin knots - I am guessing that it comes from how densely the knot is packed. When dry, the hairs feel like the Paladin CLSA5, which means they are very soft. I did not get any scrub or scritch whatsoever on the B5 during use. These are the first knots that I would assign the description, "like a cloud on my face."
Handles: Elite Razor Larimar (top), Wild West Brushworks Mountain Sky (bottom)
