The Wet Shaving Store
California, US
We just dropped Master Soap Creations at The Wet Shaving Store. A huge portion of their lineup is available now and more are on the way.

Anyone try this? Seems “suspicious” at $15.99…in terms of ingredients…and can’t possibly be EOs..

Not a new brand, there are lots of reviews on them out there. They’ve been on my list to try out!

Anyone here actually try it? At that price it sounds like they would have to use artificial fragrances sold by the barrel…

Their Aftershave stings... Hopefully you are correct on the high usage of synthetics.

I have not tried them as I am not into aftershave splashes. These are not cologne strength and certainly not EDT or EDP strength.

1. They are based on witch hazel, rosewater, and glycerin.

2. They contain a blend of essential oils and fragrance oils. Some essential oils are inexpensive, some are quite expensive. Fragrance oils tend to be less expensive.

3, Some of the fragrances are "dupes" of more famous colognes and EDPs. When made with fragrance oils, some of these dupes can be inexpensive. The original scent is often analyzed using gas chromatography and then a reasonably similar substitute is produced from lower cost ingredients. While the dupe might smell similar to the original, do not expect the fragrances to have similar silage or longevity.

Some people can afford to pay several hundred dollars for a brand name EDP, others are satisfied with a lower priced substitute.
