Not long ago I saw a posting by Itsallgravy of a brush by a company I had not heard of:  Maritime Brush.  I then checked out its web page and found the design aesthetic so very alluring.  Had to get one.  So I did.  The handle I got is called "Sea Cave"; it's 26mm and it really does look like an underwater cavern. The wood is chechen, the knot size is 26mm.  I had a G5C knot put in it.  Brendan at Maritime took extra care to make sure I was satisfied with the height of the knot, adjusting it once for me, and I cannot be happier.  Since my SOTD photos don't usually concentrate on the brushes, I felt it worthy of a standalone photo, as well as a crop out of a recent SOTD (and a thread for the company so others can post):

I love his brushes, that one is another stunner from Brendan for sure.  Im glad to see him getting some recognition and Im so glad that you didnt end up hating it after checking him out on my recommendation.  Brendan is great to do business with, he will go out of his way to make sure your happy and is humble.  I especially like that he takes the time to seal the wood on his handles, I have had quite a few wood brushes start to show cracking after a few years, inevetibly the base of the knot will get some moisture.  I would have more of his handles if I had unlimited funds but often times they sell before I even see them.  Just to add to his examples here is a shot of my brush the "Shag Harbour II" to show his range.  Mine is a double dyed double maple burl with light blue clear resin and light blue shimmer, and my picture taking skills dont do it justice.

I know someone else had told me they we're going to check him out but not sure if they ended up getting something.
