I found a NOS Schick Injector Razor Type I1 V3 on eBay for $30 total.
It came with instructions, NOS blades, and the dummy blade still in place.
I gave it it's first shave yesterday, using one of the NOS blades included.
Even though this is supposed to be the mildest of the I1 variants,
it still gave me a very good shave, even using a 60 year old NOS blade.

The TGN Premium 23mm Silvertip knot arrived last night. I set it and quickly gave it a first loading (hand soap) this morning... Just to get the bristles to open up. Beautiful!

The tips were a bit pokey before I got them wet, but I didn't notice them while lathering. Mind you, this is only on my palm. Hopefully that's a good sign still, as the silvertip before this one we're smooth as butter on the face (I think, at least). We'll know for sure, when I try it later this week.

Happy Tuesday folks![Image: 617fb5fe0930269ed1912b49aaa9532f.jpg]

From a Trade that went 3 directions to complete. So a couple Brush Handles came in on trade and thankfully the one that needs a knot can be filled with a Badger or Boar that I already have laying around (Leaning towards the Badger) So my buying restraint is still intact. Freddiep318ti helped me get the Knothead Brushworks resealed and shiny again and also traded the Koch brush (Always wanted one of these with the string held knot but this will do) for a razor I had. Knothead handle came from MaineYooper and I can't remember what I traded for it actually. I rmember watchng this languish in Tim's Etsy store and by the time I was ready to pull the trigger it was gone. All came full circle. Thanks everyone involved ! Onto the Pics....

Dave in KY, you snagged much-better-than-user-grade Enders Speed Shaver in a trade so that you could trade it with me for the handle! And wow, did Freddiep318ti make that handle come to life again, well done both of you! The Enders will be making an appearance again in a couple of weeks, at the tail end of my Schick injector March Madness fun (it uses an injector blade that Dave also made sure I had a couple of adapter to make that possible, so I am including it after my run of injectors).

I stopped by a local antique shop today across the border in NY. I Have not been there since Nov. last year .I very surprised what was behind the display case . I Picked up mint kampfe bros (not sure of the model year) lather catcher for $18 and a mint Gem Damaskeene with original box and carboard outer box for $24. Also got a merkur 33c nib for $8.
