With regard to face feel, it's one of my finest aftershaves (and I've got over a hundred of them). As I mentioned, it has face food that makes it feel very much like Chatillon Lux aftershave, which is about the highest praise I can give. I'm still a bit on the fence regarding the scent, but it's aftershave--it's not supposed to last forever (although some of my PAA aftershaves seem to...). I will have to try one of the other flavors at some point. I'm very impressed.
Wow. Thank you for the kind words. I’m very glad you are enjoying it.
Yeah, essential oils only last so long. Most of the aftershaves that last a while are fragrance oils or synthetics. Unfortunately most give me a reaction so I stuck with essential oils. I could up the volume possibly but essential oils are quite expensive so we’ll see.
Either way. I’m glad you’re digging my stuff. Cheers.
Sean, I should clarify. Sometimes while seeking brevity I create confusion...
I'm a bit on the fence regarding the opening notes of Heliopteris. As it dries down, however, it becomes very warm and cozy. And the dry down is a very nice scent. As the opening notes do not last long, to my nose, whether I like the scent or not is not really important, as it will be gone soon anyway.
I can sense the EO quality throughout the experience, however. I look forward to ordering another bottle in a different flavor as soon as Top of the Chain figures out how to ship it to the US...
The face feel of this stuff is amazing.
P.S. The international shipping restriction does not apply to the US, I just learned. Ergo, I just ordered a bottle of Frosted Wilde Flowers!
