Hi, Sean from Macduff's Soap Company here. A customer of ours and a moderator of this forum directed me to this thread. I'm glad to see discussion about our brand and all the support from everyone here. Just reading the comments I was hoping I could clear up some things and also make myself available to answer any questions/suggestions/requests you might have.
We do use both Potassium and Sodium hydroxide in our soap, and we use goat's milk and aloe vera juice instead of water.

We have two V3's because we were trying to isolate a problem ingredient causing an off "raw" odour on some of our soaps. We thought it might be the beer addition and swapped that for aloe vera. Other than that, there is no difference between 3A/B. Turns out it might of been our stearic acid but we still aren't 100 percent certain as to the cause, since it didn't affect all of our soaps--even from the same batch and scent. It was for the best though since aloe vera is obviously a better choice for post shave (beer was added since the sugars boost lather size, but we've since learned that lather size, while great for hand soaps, isn't all that important for shave soaps).
Going forward there will only be V3 and on our website there are no more 3A (even if the listing says otherwise-- I'm working on it!). Some of our stockists are slow to update listing info as well, but I understand this sort of thing is hard to keep track of when you have dozens of listings from many artisans.

Only the Bay Rum and the Alone in the Wilderness scents are available in that base on the Stonefield site if I remember correctly. The sold out Autumn Cabin which looked kind of interesting was also in the updated base.
We have Autumn Cabin on our website still! Most of what Jonathan has should be 3B--see prior reply. His last 2 orders have been entirely 3B but still might have 3A's in stock.

For this I am sorry! We ship to Europe for around 30 CAD and this is using a third party shipper-- Canada Post would be much more. If there is a European stockist that doesn't mind importing from international artisans, please let me know! I would love for you to get our soaps at a better price.

I can't DM you as this is a new account, but if you could please email me at sales@macduffssoapcompany.com Thank you
