I've spent all day and most of the night sniffing the soap to try and come up with what I'm smelling off the tub. I'm just going to come out and say, I sux at describing scents. I get a slightly sweet spicy note. Somewhat like walking past a bowl filled with Christmas potpourri with some cedar chips thrown in. Then I get a little bit of evergreen, think Christmas tree off in the corner of the room. This soap isn't just a Christmas scent. This could be used anytime during the cooler seasons.

The only MacDuff's soap I had, but the scent wasn't in my wheelhouse...
Also the base (V3, IIRC) was too soft for my taste.
Bummer, because the few shaves I had with it were quite pleasant. And the alcohol-free AS is amazing.
Is the previous Winter Cabin similar to current Christmas Cabin?

My Christmas Cabin is from the winter 2022 release and the soap is pretty soft. I think it's a V4 base. The tub of Winter Cabin that I have was bought in 2/2022 and is a V4 base but it's a little bit firmer. I strictly scoop the Christmas Cabin soap because it's so soft. My Winter Cabin looks like I've been brush loading it although I have to be gentle to not load too much.
