I wish that you could get the Spitfire in something other than plastic.  I went through a few of them as the threading broke.  There shouldn't be a technical reason why it can't be printed in a metal.
Maybe there is a reason why; I don't know.  But you could certainly CNC machine a perfect copy, using the plastic one as your model.  I suspect some R41 enthusiasts would buy them if a competent machinist were to produce them.  But that's not me.  I get just as close a shave from my Focus Tritok Concave (R52 & R62), and without the risk of bloodshed.

Another option would be to put up a WTB for a 2011 R-41 ... if you already have a 2013. Just swap top caps when you feel the urge, or if you like the 11 on the 13 better leave it on there.

Both editions...same serial number. The shavings gods have smiled upon you, sir. Well done. I tried to get matching serials but will have to settle for a mismatched pair.

Thank you very much James LOOT  for your words. Yes, I am very happy to have the same number on both razors. I have been very lucky because I first bought the Berlin edition, where you cannot choose the number because the boxes are not numbered. When I had the Berlin number, I asked a friend who was traveling to London if he could get me the same number at the store. Everything has been amazing.

Yeah, I thought these were properly called "scalloped guard bars".

Sometimes, things just work out! I am not complaining. For a guy who has never been to Europe and no friends there, it was exceedingly difficult to find sources willing to straw buy for a complete stranger. I had almost given up, but have stumbled onto 2 very kind, gracious DFS members who facilitated the transactions.

How do you like the razor?
